  • 50% deposit is payable upon on booking and balance 50% is payable 30 days prior to arrival. You are not able to cancel without penalty once any monies are paid, and any monies paid up to the time of cancellation will be forfeited upon cancellation. Should you have booked through a third party, then their Cancellation Terms will be honoured/enforced. Cancellation requests must be made in writing. If a guest shortens their stay or reduces their guest numbers the unused portion of your tariff is not refundable. We recommend domestic travel insurance for anyone who may feel that the booking dates could be at risk. 

  • At Block Eight we provide unobtrusive service.  This means we are available for you whenever you need us but we do not intrude on your holiday experience.  Keys are left for you on your arrival and some villas have keypad entry.  Each villa contains a welcome book which answers all of your questions.

  • Block Eight is less than a ten minute drive to the main wineries like Roche Estate, Hope Estate and Bimbadgen.

  • Concert organisers provide free bus transport to and from Hunter Valley concerts.  A bus stops on our street.  Private and public wine tours are available for all areas of the Hunter and can be found by conducting a Google search.

  • No.  For the comfort of all guests smoking is not allowed inside any of the accommodation.

  • Absolutely. We welcome pets at Block Eight. Both Water View and Tree Tops villas are Dog Friendly, with fenced yards and all of the amenities to keep your fur baby happy.

  • Of course.  Just let us know of any dietary requirements when you book and we will take care of you.

  • Block Eight creates Semillon, Chardonnay, Rose, Dessert, Frizzante and Shiraz wine.  Our winemaker is Daniel Binet (of Ballabourneen and Domaine de Binet)
