Block Eight Estate
Block Eight Estate offers luxury Hunter Valley accommodation on 100 private acres in one of the region’s most peaceful wine country locations. Set among a boutique vineyard, olive grove, sparkling lakes and open countryside, the estate enjoys uninterrupted views toward the Barrington Tops and is just minutes from Pokolbin’s renowned cellar doors, restaurants and concert venues.
Our adults-only retreat features five beautifully appointed private villas, with a maximum of ten guests on the property at any one time. Guests can slow down, unwind and explore the estate at their leisure, surrounded by native wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies and water birds.
Enjoy a picnic on the parklike grounds, stroll through the vineyard and olive grove, or relax with a glass of Block Eight wine in the Wine Room overlooking the lake.
Known from the 2019 best-selling memoir Thirty Thousand Bottles of Wine and a Pig Called Helga, Block Eight Estate is a private and character-filled Hunter Valley escape for couples, wine lovers and guests seeking boutique accommodation near Pokolbin.
